The answer is that you should keep none of the above. But why?
During this last week of October the Vatican hosted a conference of The International Association of Exorcists (IAE) formed in 1990 by a group of Catholic  priests who specialize in exorcising (casting out) demons (fallen angels who are now evil). Reports indicate that Pope Francis praised their work in the battle against the Devil.
The Association itself also advocated replacing Halloween with “Holyween” where Catholic children dress up as saints presumably as a compliment to the existing Roman Church festival on November 1 st of All Saints Day—also called All Hallows or Hallowmas.
In the early 1500s Martin Luther, leader of the Protestant Reformation, officially rejected the traditional Catholic doctrine that the faithful go to heaven where they act on behalf of those who pray to them. Saints were and are typically canonized by the Vatican some length of time after their deaths by adding them to the official list. However, Protestantism has generally sanctioned the perpetuation of the holiday we know as Halloween—although it has much more ancient roots in many pagan and later Celtic annual celebrations. The bulk of today’s Halloween symbols devolve from its ancient roots.
Interestingly, Pope Francis and leaders of the IAE denounced the traditional Halloween festival which glorifies Satan, demonic spirits, so-called ghosts and all manner of evil—which prompted the Holyween alternative.
How does a true Bible student make sense of Halloween, Holyween or All Saints Day? What’s true? What isn’t true? And what does God expect of you?
1.  Humans do not have immortal souls. “…The soul who sins shall die” (Ezekiel:18:4, 20). If souls were immortal, then they couldn’t die. However, since souls (meaning the person) can die, then to live forever in God’s Kingdom they must be given immortality at some future point. “So when…this mortal has put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass that is written, ‘Death is swallowed up in victory’” (1 Corinthians:15:54).
2.  True saints are not in heaven, but in the grave until the first resurrection of the dead which occurs at Jesus Christ’s return to earth. “For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first” (1 Thessalonians:4:16).
3.  Satan the Devil and his demonic fallen angels do exist and are evil—but we do not glorify them with a celebration or party! Laughing at or celebrating evil is the first step to accepting and embracing it. The true Christian’s reaction to the Devil is “Resist him, steadfast in the faith…” (1 Peter:5:9).
4.  True Christians observe God’s Holy Days from the Bible and reject and avoid the pagan-based holidays of the world no matter what religious label of acceptance is attached to them. God’s sanctioned days are cataloged in Leviticus 23 starting with the weekly Sabbath and followed by His annual Festivals or Feasts. The reason that choosing the right days of official worship is that a true follower of Jesus Christ seeks what is true—and true only.  Jesus specifically stated, “But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him” (John:4:23).
If you seek to be a “true worshiper” of God the Father and Jesus Christ, then you choose to directly reject any semblance of Halloween, Holyween, All Saints Day or Hallowmas in your life’s activities and in your worship of God.

Is Homosexuality Acceptable to God?

Is Homosexuality Acceptable to God?

The acceptance of homosexuality as an equally valid lifestyle is rapidly growing in Western culture. Yet God tells us that sex was designed for only one relationship—within marriage, exclusively between a man and a woman.

image The acceptance of homosexuality as an equally valid lifestyle is rapidly growing in Western culture. Yet God tells us that sex was designed for only one relationship—within marriage, exclusively between a man and a woman. Because homosexual activity, premarital sex and adultery are all outside of marriage, all are violations of God's instructions. These things are all sins, and those who commit these sins must repent of them.
The Bible condemns homosexual practices in several places such as Genesis:19:1-25, Leviticus:18:22 and 20:13, and Judges:19:1-25. These scriptures refer to homosexual acts as something that should not be done and as evil in the eyes of God.
In the New Testament, Romans:1:24-27, 1 Corinthians:6:9-11 and 1 Timothy:1:9-10 refer to homosexuality in the same way. The passage in Romans includes a specific prohibition of both male and female homosexual involvement. The Bible nowhere makes positive or approving statements about homosexuality. The only two options affirmed for adult Christians are heterosexual marriage or abstinence.
The vast majority of academic and biblical scholars agree that the Bible prohibits homosexual activities. Nearly all of today's translations of the Bible are also in agreement that God prohibits homosexual practice.
Contesting God's instructions, some homosexuals argue that God made them the way they are and that He therefore must approve of homosexuality. Such reasoning is inherently flawed for several reasons.
First, God made all of us with free moral agency; we choose what we will think, believe and do. We are not robots incapable of making our own choices or governing our own behavior. Second, one's environment has been proven to have a great impact on a person's developing sexuality. Moreover, studies of identical twins where one twin is homosexual and the other isn't prove that homosexuality isn't governed by genetic makeup. These factors show that homosexuals are made, not born.
Third, regardless of any conditions that may predispose a person to homosexuality, we are all expected to make moral decisions regardless of our circumstances. When we determine to follow God's instructions, we must live up to all His standards. God doesn't permit us to rewrite His rules simply because we are naturally inclined to premarital sex, adultery, homosexuality or any other sin.
And speaking of the way we human beings are made, the Bible reveals that we all (regardless of our sexual orientation) have a predisposition to sin. We have minds that from childhood are set against God and His ways (Jeremiah:17:9). As a result, we all sin (Romans:3:23). The challenge for each of us in responding to God is to repent of our sins—to change our lives, with His help, in conforming to His standards (Romans:12:1-2). When we commit our lives to God, we can change our lives.
It's encouraging to understand that there is clear biblical evidence that God can change the life of a person involved in homosexual behavior. In 1 Corinthians 6, the apostle Paul is addressing men and women in the church at Corinth. He lists many forms of behavior—including homosexual acts—that will keep a person from being in God's Kingdom (verses 9-10). Then Paul makes this statement: "And that is what some of you were. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God" (verse 11, New International Version).
Paul apparently knew former homosexuals in the church at Corinth. So the message that homosexuality can be changed is not new. Homosexuals have been experiencing change since the Bible was written. God's Word takes the approach of hating the sin but loving the sinner (compare John:3:16).
What is the responsibility of one who wants to be a Christian but struggles with a deeply ingrained attraction to members of his or her own sex? The Scriptures say that person is obligated to control his sexual desires in the same way that heterosexual single adults must exercise self-control. In other words, he or she must refrain from giving in to his or her lusts.
The Bible instructs us to repent and come out of sin. Homosexual practices, like any other sin, need to be repented of and overcome. A practicing homosexual would do so by acknowledging that homosexuality is wrong and by ceasing to live a homosexual lifestyle or place himself in a situation where he or she might be tempted to engage in such behavior.
Recognizing that sin begins in the mind (James:1:13-15), a person struggling with this or other sexual sins must strive to "take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ" (2 Corinthians:10:5, NIV). Such an individual can be a true Christian even though he or she may be engaged in a lifelong struggle to resist returning to homosexual practices.
It is also important to understand the difference between homosexual orientation and homosexual lust and behavior. The orientation is not a sin but the lust and behavior is. While there are many people in our society today who reject God's instruction on this subject, there are many others with homosexual orientations who are coming out of this lifestyle to live in accordance with God's instruction.
As resources for those wishing to overcome homosexuality and obey God, we recommend reading Reparative Therapy of Male Homosexuality by Dr. Joseph Nicolosi and Breaking Free Journal (breakingfree.ucg.org), a publication dedicated to helping Christians struggling with homosexuality, addictions and other dysfunctional behaviors.
A book entitled Love Won Out by John and Anne Paulk can also be encouraging. It is the true story of how, with God's help, two people were able to leave homosexuality and find each other. For those seeking help in leaving the homosexual lifestyle, several organizations can be contacted:

[Darris McNeely] Canada is reeling right now as a result of two terrorist attacks that have taken the life of at least one policeman and unsettled what is normally a very peaceful and calm country and nation. And as a result of their participation in the war against ISIS in the country of Iraq in the Middle East, now terrorism has come to Canada, and they're wondering what's next. To deal with something like this in a country like Canada – certainly America's had its share, and other western nations – is unsettling and disturbing. It creates fear and it creates panic – which is exactly what terrorists want to have accomplished in western nations when they perpetrate random acts, such as what happened in Canada this week when a gunman stormed the parliament building and was finally shot down by the sergeant in arms there, and another officer was killed when he was run over by a car.
These are tragic situations. Bigger ones have happened, killing more people in other countries, and there's lessons as we look at what is taking place here. I look at this always from a standpoint of not just the political, geopolitics of the moment, but also from a spiritual perspective. Because if you look at terrorism as striking fear and panic within otherwise normal and peaceful western nations, especially like Canada, and creating mistrust of even other parts of the population, and all the media hype that goes along with it, you realize that the terrorists' goal is to break down the fabric of society and to rip it apart by whatever means they can do. And when they succeed in that to, again, whatever degree, their ends begin to be met. And so there's a lesson there. There's a lesson for you and I spiritually as we view and observe all of this.
We deal with a spiritual form of terror when it comes to the resistance against us as Christians in dealing with this world, overcoming our own human nature, overcoming the pulls of this world and living godly in this age. We have that responsibility before us. And our enemy is seeking to snatch away the calm, the confidence, the courage that we might have to deal with the challenges that we have. So we deal with our own form of spiritual terrorism. And I think that is something that we always need to remember as we look at these larger incidents that take place in the news today.
In Luke:8:12, there is the parable of the sower and the seed, and Christ's explanation of the seed being the gospel of the kingdom that is sown within people's lives and minds. He shows that one of the primary activities that takes place after that seed is sown is the effort to snatch away the seeds of truth, the seeds of the gospel of the kingdom, and commitment and dedication from a person's life. It says that what happens is, "The devil comes and takes away the word out of their hearts that they should not believe and be saved." That's Luke:8:12. Satan comes on the scene to snatch away the seed of hope, of truth, of courage, and to replace it with fear and panic, spiritually speaking, in this age. We fight a war on a spiritual level against a spiritual terrorist every single day. And I think that's one of the great lessons that we must have. We have to stand up, and we have to be courageous, and we have to deal with that, just as the political leaders have to be courageous and show how their own peoples, as in Canada – how to go forward, how to deal with tragic accidents and acts of terror that take place like this. They have to show that in order for the people, the country, the nation to continue going forward. We have to do the same in our own personal life as we meet the resistance that is there with us.

Are Deadly Infections an Indicator of Worse to Come?

Doctors and hospitals are increasingly sobered by deadly new strains of "superbugs" that are largely invulnerable to today's most potent antibiotics. Is it possible we could we see epidemics of incurable infections?

A spilled bottle of medication/pills.

Almost lost in the deluge of news of advancements in the medical world is the revelation of new strains of bacteria that challenge all we have learned over the past century about fighting disease organisms.
A strain of antibiotic-resistant bacteria known medically as carbapenem-resistant enterobacteriaceae, or CRE, has jumped to the forefront of the medical world's attention due to one very disturbing fact—their near-total resistance to an entire family of drugs known as carbapenum antibiotics makes them nearly impossible to treat once they infect a patient.
Emerging recently in hospitals and nursing homes, they attack the most vulnerable—weaker and elderly patients. And once they get a foothold in a hospital or nursing home, they are virtually unstoppable.
In the face of these and other rising health threats on a national and global scale, we need to consider what's happening and where our primary focus should be.

"Nightmare superbugs"

No less an authority than the renowned Centers for Disease Control and Prevention refers to these lethal bacteria in terms not normally used in the staid medical world. CDC Director Dr. Thomas Frieden, in a March 6, 2013, USA Today story, says these "nightmare superbugs" present a triple threat. "They're resistant to nearly all antibiotics. They have high mortality rates, killing nearly half of people with serious infections. And they can spread their resistance to other bacteria," Frieden said.
What worries Dr. Frieden and so many others is that antibiotics known to the medical world today have virtually no effect on these superbugs. He and other bacteriologists fear it may be too late to stop their onslaught, which has killed up to 70 percent of patients infected by CRE. Doctors fear they are running out of options to slow or stop the spread.
Friedan warned that the United States has only a "narrow window of opportunity" to take action before it is too late to halt the spread of the bacteria. He envisions a scenario in which antibiotics could become powerless against such common ailments as diarrhea and respiratory and urinary tract infections.
Thus far, CRE infections have been reported in 42 states. As of late last year, about 4 percent of U.S. hospitals had reported at least one case of CRE infection, with that rate jumping to 18 percent among acute-care hospitals.
Even such renowned facilities as the National Institutes of Health's Clinical Center near Washington, D.C., are not immune. Last summer a CRE strain struck the center where it killed seven, including a 16-year-old boy. And there have been worse outbreaks.
Intensive care patients seem to be at the greatest risk, especially those on ventilators or hooked up to central intravenous catheters. Organ transplant patients and those undergoing chemotherapy seem particularly vulnerable. And health officials fear that continued mutation of CRE bacteria could produce varieties that could make even common infections virtually untreatable.
We report this not to dissuade readers from seeking needed medical care, but to increase awareness of the problem. All of us must consider what's happening in the world and exercise wisdom.

Unexpected effects stymie experts

What has brought this alarming state of affairs?
Medical observers have noted that the overuse of certain antibiotics in hospitals and nursing homes has had an unexpected effect: Many of the Enterobacteriaceae have become resistant to most of the antibiotics in general use today. As a result, where just over a decade ago only 1.2 percent of bacteria were antibiotic-resistant, today that number has grown to about 4.4 percent. Ironically, the bugs have become resistant to the very carbapenum antibiotics developed as an answer to weaker earlier antibiotics.
"This has been bred in hospitals and nursing homes because of the way we use antibiotics," said Dr. Carlos Nunez, chief medical officer for CareFusion, a company which markets an infection surveillance system used in many hospitals. "You go to a place where you are supposed to get better and you get an infection where you have a 50 percent chance of dying. It's a nightmare scenario."
The pathogens'ability to survive and become resistant to antibiotics has stymied medical experts. Overuse of antibiotics to kill CRE in past years has produced strains of drug-resistant germs that not only survive, but are able to pass along survival traits to other bacteria found in hospitals.
The growing alarm over the CRE threat has placed hospitals and nursing homes on the defensive. CRE can be transferred from patients to the environment and to the hands of the care providers, such as doctors or nurses, when care providers touch patients or touch them with medical equipment, then touch other patients. To counter this, stricter enforcement of hand washing has become required practice in medical facilities.
Procedures in many hospitals now call for patients considered high-risk for CREs to get special screenings on arrival. Hospital officials now warn hospital visitors to wash their hands thoroughly and insist that anyone who touches them also wash their hands.
CRE infection of a patient triggers additional precautions to reduce the likelihood of its spread to other patients. Under the use of "contact precautions," patients are essentially quarantined, transferred to separate rooms to which the patient is confined and from which visitors are barred. Nurses and other caretakers can be required to wear gloves and gowns each time they enter the room.

Old diseases on the return

For more than a century, America and the Western world have made what seemed to be unstoppable progress on the road to eradicating sickness and disease. One by one through the decades, such dreaded maladies as smallpox, yellow fever, whooping cough and tuberculosis began to disappear as medical research discovered their causes and ways to prevent them.
The 20th century featured a parade of medical advances. One by one, diseases that plagued mankind for centuries fell before the advances of medical science.
Major milestones were the discovery in 1900 of the cause of yellow fever by two U.S. Army doctors, Walter Reed and James Carroll. The 1920s saw the development of vaccines for whooping cough, diphtheria and tuberculosis, and the uses of insulin to treat diabetes. Dr. Jonas Salk astounded the medical world in 1955 with his discovery of a vaccine to prevent polio, which had paralyzed millions. Vaccines for measles, mumps and rubella followed in the 1960s, as did heart and other organ transplants.
And while some diseases, such as cancer and heart disease, have not been stopped, medical science has made great strides in treatment. Survival rates for cancer have improved tremendously since 1960.
A 2009 survey in the United Kingdom showed five-year survival rates for leukemia, prostate, melanoma and several other common cancers to be as high as 84 percent. U.S. five-year survival rates for bladder cancer are as high as 80 percent, and more than 50 percent for lung cancer. Aggressive treatments such as chemotherapy and radiation, and surgery as a last resort, have resulted in cures or partial cures for millions.
But are we now beginning to see a reversal of that trend? Are we starting to lose ground, even retreat, in the face of illnesses where bacteria and other microorganisms mutate to the point they become resistant to the vaccines and antibiotics of modern medical science?
Tuberculosis, once thought to be nearly eradicated, is making a comeback among some sectors of the U.S. population, according to series of recent reports. A current CDC fact sheet reported on the rise of "multi-drug resistant tuberculosis," which seems to be on the rise among many immigrant groups.
These strains of TB have developed resistance to all of the most effective TB drugs, leaving patients the only option, in the bland wording of the report, "to pursue treatment options that are much less effective."
Once thought to be eradicated, scarlet fever has recently been found to be on the increase. The discovery of penicillin in 1943 did much to virtually eliminate the disease, which ravaged America in the 18th and 19th centuries in massive outbreaks. But a new, more virulent form resistant to penicillin has arisen, and outbreaks have occurred in China, where reported cases tripled in 2011. A flurry of new cases broke out in Michigan last year, concentrated among immigrant communities.

Where is our trust?

It's time that all of us start doing some serious reflection and assessment. We might ask whether we've taken modern "wonder drugs" for granted, assuming that science will always find a solution for our problems. Does your Bible have anything to say about this?
Notice the words of Moses to ancient Israel: "If you do not carefully observe all the words of this law that are written in this book . . . then the Lord will bring upon you and your descendants extraordinary plagues—great and prolonged plagues—and serious and prolonged sicknesses . . . all the diseases of Egypt . . . Also every sickness and every plague . . . will the Lord bring upon you until you are destroyed" (Deuteronomy:28:58-61).
Moses also warned of incurable illnesses as punishment for national sins earlier in this passage: "The Lord will strike you with the boils of Egypt, with tumors, and with the scab, and with the itch, from which you cannot be healed" (verse 27). That last phrase strikes a familiar chord with our situation today.
Increasingly, medical issues take the forefront of our concerns. Millions in the Western world, especially those entering late middle age and older, spend more time concerned about the effects of illnesses and what will happen if they have to go into a hospital.
But the God who designed and created the human body has some good news for us. He forgives and heals! Of course, this requires turning to Him and following His ways. Still, the timing remains up to Him. In some cases, He will deliver us immediately. But even if He does not completely heal right now—as He knows what is ultimately best for all of us—He nevertheless has a plan in place that will eradicate sickness and disease forever.
Notice this good news in Revelation:21:4: "'He will wipe away every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death' or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away" (New International Version). And even prior to that, a time is coming when the earth, under the reign of Jesus Christ, will be largely free of pain, sickness and disease. Not only will hospital-born killer germs be eliminated, but there will no longer be a need for hospitals themselves.
If this sounds too fantastic to be true, read the Bible study aids, Why Does God Allow Suffering? and The Road to Eternal Life . You'll find the Bible has much more to say about the scourge of disease.

Should Christians Celebrate Halloween?

Halloween is a major holiday in the Western world for people of various backgrounds. Can Halloween celebrations be reconciled with a Christian worldview and lifestyle? The Bible holds the answer.

Should Christians Celebrate Halloween?
Jack-O'-Lantern
Source: Wikimedia Commons
Monday night millions of children around the nation will be donning costumes, ringing doorbells and uttering the traditional "trick or treat" Halloween greeting. Most people consider this a harmless, fun activity for children. Others condemn the entire occasion because of the pagan origin of the day and connect it with demonism and the occult.
An article from a prominent Christian magazine suggested that "Christians should embrace the 'devilish' holiday with gusto—and laughter." The author suggests that Halloween presents us with an opportunity to "mock" and "laugh at" Satan and "the forces of evil."
A local pastor, writing wistfully of his past childhood Halloween celebration, said, "I enjoyed being a devil." He asserted that "a child doesn’t think of a red devil as an enemy of God or the apostle of hate and destruction." He went on to defend wearing costumes as merely superficial, and suggested that opposition to celebrating Halloween stems from lack of confidence in Christian beliefs.

Really only harmless fun?

Wait a minute! Is it unchristian for parents not to want their children to dress up as the Devil? Or does Satan theDevil even exist? According to a recent Barna survey, nearly 50 percent of professing Christians do not believe that Satan is a living being. For these folks, the whole question must be a moot point. But perhaps the rest of us ought to reconsider our perspective regarding Halloween.
Would anyone dare to suggest applying this reasoning to Hitler? Would wearing Hitler masks and swastikas and dressing like the skeletal remains of his victims be an appropriate way to "laugh at" Hitler and "mock" the diabolical evils of Nazism?
Is Satan a laughing matter? Does God want our children to associate fun and treats with the forces of evil?
I am not implying that a child who puts on a Halloween mask is dabbling in the occult or is in danger of demon possession. I am simply questioning the suggestion that Halloween serves a positive Christian purpose.
According to Deuteronomy:12:31-32 God does not approve of recycling, reconstituting and relabeling pagan customs to celebrate Christian events.

Carnal holidays trumped by God's Holy Days

My wife and I just finished celebrating eight fun-filled days of the Feast of Tabernacles with more than 700 men, women and children here in Central Oregon. I so much wish all of Christianity could share the joy of this meaningfuloccasion. Here is a God-ordained festival that was observed by Jesus, Paul and the apostolic Church and is still celebrated today by many Christians. It is one of seven annual Holy Days that foreshadow future events in God's plan (Colossians:2:16-17) rather

What Is a Proper Litmus Test for Supreme Court Nominees?

What Is a Proper Litmus Test for Supreme Court Nominees?

Printer-friendly version
Posted July 29, 2005

John Roberts Jr., President Bush's recent nominee to the US Supreme Court, has been receiving rave reviews from his peers and Washington's lawmakers. Most in the Republican Party hope for his quick confirmation.

But many Democrats, though they don't doubt or question his qualifications, are committed to withholding their support until he answers questions on two key issues: abortion rights and gay marriages.
These issues have become the litmus test for any new appointment to America's highest court. And the possibility that once on the bench Judge Roberts could, as did Justice Sandra Day O'Conner, become a "swing vote" in future cases dealing with abortion has both pro-choice and family planning groups concerned.
Therefore his response to questions on the issues of gay marriage and abortion will be thoroughly scrutinized. As Associated Press Writer Will Lester noted, "Just over half of all Americans—and a solid majority of women—want to know John Roberts' position on abortion before the Senate votes on whether to elevate him to the Supreme Court" (AP release, Friday, July 22, 2005).
Those who have grown up since the end of World War II may not realize how much the moral climate of Western nations has changed in just the past 60 years. Prior to that time no judicial candidate who supported same-sex marriage or aborting the life an unborn child would have stood a chance of sitting as a judge in any high court in the land. Now, any who oppose openly homosexual marriage or abortion will almost certainly not be appointed to any high court in most Western nations.
As in nations today, judges in ancient Israel were an essential part of its leadership. They were chosen and appointed with this instruction, "Moreover you shall select from all the people able men, such as fear God, men of truth, hating covetousness; and place such over them ... And let them judge the people at all times…." (Exodus:18:21-22).
Judges were to be the standard bearers of moral conduct—fearlessly standing for a level of behavior that respected the rights and lives of all. Their rulings were not to be driven by popularity polls but by an understanding that each judge is accountable to the higher authority of God. "Then he [the Jews' king] set judges in the land ..., city by city, and said to the judges, ‘Take heed to what you are doing, for you do not judge for man but for the Lord, who is with you in the judgment' " (2 Chronicles:19:5-7).
Ezekiel, a biblical prophet sent from of God, once criticized his own people for not distinguishing that which is holy from that which is profane (Ezekiel:22:26). Is a similar shift in values happening today? One thing is certain, earlier perceptions of right and wrong are changing. What once was seen as evil is now seen as acceptable and good. What once was called good is now looked upon as evil.
Do we fit the description of another of God's prophets: "For My people are foolish, they have not known Me. They are silly children, and they have no understanding. They are wise to do evil, but to do good they have no knowledge" (Jeremiah:4:22).
Historians put much of the blame for the collapse and fall of the ancient Roman Empire on its moral decay. Sexual abuse of children became rampant. Receiving personal satisfaction and gratifying desires for pleasure became the all-consuming purpose for life. As it plunged into decadence, homosexuality, abortion and infanticide became commonplace. A pregnancy or the birth of a baby often came to be looked upon as merely an obstacle to the good life.
Could we be headed for a similar fate as that of the ancient Roman Empire?

Charles Darwin's 10 Mistakes

Charles Darwin's 10 Mistakes

We made a list of 10 reasons Darwin's theory of evolution does not hold up to scientific scrutiny.

[title]
1. "Warm little pond" theory: There is no solid evidence of life arising spontaneously from a chemical soup.
2. Simplicity of the cell theory: Scientists have discovered that cells are tremendously complex, not simple.
3. Theory about the cell’s simple information: It turns out cells have a digital code more complex and lengthy than any computer language made by man.
4. Theory of intermediate fossils: Where are the supposed billions of missing links in the evolutionary chain?
5. Theory of the variation of species: Genetic adaptation and mutation have proven to have fixed limits.
6. Theory of the Cambrian Explosion: This sudden appearance of most major complex animal groups at the same low level of the fossil record is still an embarrassment to evolutionists.
7. Theory of homology: Similarity of structures does not mean the evolution of structures.
8. Theory of ape evolution : Chimpanzees have not evolved into anything else. Neither has man.
9. Theory of the tree of life: Rather than all life branching from a single organism, evidence has revealed a forest of life from the very beginning.
10. Rejection of an intelligent designer: This opened the door for many to reject God, the Bible and Christianity.
