God Makes Sense

God Makes Sense
Source: Photos.com"If there is not a God, nothing makes sense—not even chance." In our first of the Fundamental Theology module classes at the Ambassador Bible Center, Dr. Ward gave these words of wisdom.
The Bible says in Isaiah 45:18For thus saith the LORD that created the heavens; God himself that formed the earth and made it; he hath established it, he created it not in vain, he formed it to be inhabited: I am the LORD; and there is none else.
See All...: "For this is what the Lord says—he who created the heavens, he is God; he who fashioned and made the earth, he founded it; he did not create it to be empty, but formed it to be inhabited—he says: 'I am the Lord, and there is no other'" (NIV).
When we look around at God’s creation, there is no doubt that a higher being has fashioned the universe. Mankind has even proven God’s Word true in our discovery and understanding of Earth’s placement in the solar system. For example, if the Earth was any closer to the sun, glaciers would melt, the oceans temperature would increase and evaporation would amplify. Inversely, if the Earth were any further away from the sun, our planet would be covered with ice and the carbon dioxide in the air would dissolve. Earth would be uninhabitable.
But knowing God is the Creator and Sustainer of life just isn’t enough, because our existence is not by chance! God is a personal and purposeful being. He is our Creator, and we were made to have a relationship with Him, as well as a purposeful life. Without God, our lives are empty. We need Him to have any true sense in our lives.
Growing in faith of God begins in believing in His existence—but it doesn’t end there. Hebrews 11:6But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
See All... says, "But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him." So take the challenge of diligently seeking God and see the reward of sense in your life.
